All bout' Rook

Rook moved from Boston MASS (Cambridge) to Brooklyn NY in 2004 to attend college and to pursue careers in music, TV and film. Since 2004 Rook has been doing shows/auditions/competitions all across Manhattan (A winner of CT's Open Mic competition), Brooklyn and Boston; gaining respect and fans as he goes. He has also landed a role in an indie film and has been featured on numerous mixtapes. These days you can catch Rook working on his upcoming 2nd mixtape "Mixed Ape" and brainstorming his first album. His first mixtape "The Boy Who Could Fly: The Mixtape" was released to much success and respect, and fans are now anxiously awaiting his second release. You can also catch him on the road and in the studio with his group "The FlyRydaz" who have had much recent success and who are also prepping for their next big release "MASSive Music II". 2013 is looking like its going to be a great year for Rook.
